HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-2165z
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, I found an hp TP01-2165z Pavilion desktop on the hp website that had all the specs that I wanted. The price was marked down 36%, from $749.99 down to $479.99. What a deal, so I thought. I noticed when I did a comparison with the other Pavilion desk tops, the
hp TP01-2165z had better overall specs than the other Pavilion desktops, which were higher priced.

There must be a catch, or something that I am missing.
So, I went to hp's support website and started searching for more info on the hp TP01-2165z. I went to the HP PartSurfer website, typed in the TP01-2165z product number: 20W71AA. I scrolled down the page and when I saw the power supply info,(L89232-001 Power supply unit 310W MT Sirius2 EPA90. The "Click to Buy" box had "N/A" written in the box. Next, I went to the HP Parts Store website, typed the part number "L89232-001". Search results: Part discontinued by manufacturer.

Well, I believe I found the catch! This could have been mentioned in the HP PartSurfer, where another part was discontinued, but it actually had a replacement part.

I went ahead and did a thorough search online, and no luck there. The links to other parts manufacturers from HP Parts store, Amazon, or ebay turned up any results for this power supply. Since HP does not list an alternate replacement part.

I was very close to buying this product. If you are are not able to recommend  a satisfactory alternative, I will build my own pc, so I do not have to worry about an issue like this turning out to be an upleasant surprise.
