Hello. I have a HP EliteDesk 800 G1 TWR PC. It has been in the past used for Windows 7. One person upgraded it to Windows 10 and it works fine. The current CPU is i7-4770. Im planning to change the CPU to i7 4790K. Im also planning to change GPU, i will probably get ASUS Cerberus GTX 1050 TI. But here's the problem. I have a cooler, possibly older, that is, in height about 101-102mm, width about 103cm, and length about 62-65mm. Those are the dimensions of the current CPU cooler. So, it's not really big. It's a small CPU cooler. Im not sure what is the model of the CPU cooler. So im thinking about getting a new CPU cooler, NH-L12S. But the question is, will it fit? So what should i do? Should i get a new CPU cooler or keep the old one on i7 4790K? IF i should get a new CPU cooler, then what cooler will fit in HP EliteDesk 800 G1 TWR, will NH-L12S fit or i need a smaller CPU cooler?

@Matt00002,

Yes, the GigaByte GTX 1650 MINI ITX OC 4GB, a 75-watt TDP graphics card which is solely powered through the PCIe x16 slot will (easily) fit in your HP EliteDesk 800 G1 TWR and can also easily be powered by your stock 320-watt power supply.

@Matt00002,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

You don't necessarily need to upgrade your CPU cooler when you install the Devil's Canyon processor (i7-4790K) in your HP EliteDesk 800 G1 TWR -please take a look at my upgrade project: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Upgrading-an-HP-EliteDesk-800-G....

What I would suggest (DISCLAIMER: assuming you can do this safely and responsibly) is to modify the top panel by cutting a 90mm Ø opening and adding a 0.38A 12V (4.6W) 9025 cooling fan (or whatever you want to use) positioned directly above the CPU cooling fan/heatsink combo, in order to blow air down (in) to improve case airflow dynamics/cooling -and specifically to assist cooling the CPU cooler, and using a PWM cooling fan splitter cable to power it.

Sorry to change the topic, but may i ask you, will GIGABYTE GTX 1650 MINI ITX OC fit in my case? specifically need GPU without any pin connectors. Since i have HP EliteDesk 800 G1 TWR, I've been searching again and again on internet, and i found this GPU, that is, GIGABYTE GTX 1650 MINI ITX OC. So would that fit, be compatible and is it without pin connectors? By the way, is it important if it's  GV-N1650IXOC-4GD? If you know, please tell me if this GPU is without pin connectors. Actually i found two models. GV-N1656OC-4GD and GV-N1650IXOC-4GD. So which one is without pin connector, and if you could please say, will it fit and be compatible? Again, im sorry to change the topic. Thanks!
