Product: HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0013w

I want to add an external bluray burner. the Cyberlink advisor says my graphic card (nvidia geforce gtx1050) is BD ready, but the  graphic card driver(current update) isn't.  Would the blu ray disc play or would I need a new graphic card?
