I want to purchase a HP Z2 G4 Tower but need to know one thing before I buy. Can I install my own full size optical drive, which will be a Blu Ray Burner drive. The pc looks to have two 5.25" bays but want to make certain and also will it have the power and sata cable for the drive. This model comes with an optional slimline dvd drive but that is something that I have no use for.
So: 1 - Can I put a full size optical drive in a HP Z2 G4 and 2 - Will the power and sata cable be in the case?
Thanks.

It does have 2 external 5.25 bays. The slimline DVD drive will present a minor issue. Depends on the connector at the drive. It is a dual molded connection (power and data) then toss it out. If 2 separate cables, you have the data cable. All you need is power. Either an unused sata power plug, or get a "Y" sata power splitter.
