So I'm looking to get a good boost in performance especially in my modded Skyrim which I have a little over 1000 mods and was pointed to getting the i7 14700k which will hopefully go good with the 3080 ti and maybe a 4070 ti or even the 4090 later on. I know I'll have to get a new motherboard to have a lga 1700 slot for the cpu. So my worry is losing all the stuff I have on my pc, especially those mods, as it will not be easy to reinstall them all as some are no longer available.
I have most program installed on the internal ssd, but I have a separate m.2 ssd specifically for games and then a hdd with some programs and overall just random files.
Also, I'm curious if this website shows my psu to know if I'd need another one for the new cpu as with my new case I can't see the wattage on it.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
