- Will a 1660 Ti work well in a Z620?

I recently purchased a Z620 with a E5-2660 processor, 32GB of memory and a Nvidia Quadro 4000 video card. While it works with hashcat for a simple password (15 minutes) the GPU is running flat out at about 88 degrees. Doing a more difficult password might take 3 weeks. My constrained budget idea is to buy a GTX 1660 Ti. Other than a 6 to 8 pin adapter being needed will this work well in my system?

Does it have UEFI test it by going here. The GTX 1660Ti requires UEFI.
HP initial news brief was March 2012, before UEFI.

It has UEFI. The system only has 2 6 pin connectors - one which is docked and the other is attached to the Quadro 4000.
I really want to know if the card will work correctly as I've got an XW8400 where I can no longer install a fresh copy of WIn 10 due to driver problems (long story).

With an adapter for the PCIe 6 to PCIe8, that 130W card should work.
