Will i get any benefit by installing USB 3.0 Pcie Card in HP Pro 3400 series MT Core i3, 2120 H61 Chipset? Personally I chose USB Pcie Card 3.0 with Molex and Front Panel Socket. Will it match with this motherboard or is it useless to go with 3.0? Should I go with USB 2.0 or select 3.0 Pcie USB Card?
I did a lot of research but couldn't come with any solution that what to choose that perfectly matches the output. Isn't it useless to install USB Pcie 3.0 in Pcie 2.0 slot*1?

I don't know what are you trying to get out. Before making decision, please note
USB 3 and PCIe 3x4 have different speeds and purposes. USB 3.0 (also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1) has a theoretical maximum transfer rate of 5 Gbit/s (625 MB/s), while a PCIe 3.0 x4 interface has a theoretical maximum transfer rate of 3.94 GB/s. Therefore, PCIe 3x4 is significantly faster than USB 3.0.
Regards.

most USB 3.0 cards that use the PCI-e 2.0 Bus are sharing the cards total 5GBps bandwidth between all the usb ports on the card
this is a workable approach if all devices connected are low data transfers such a keyboards, mice, usb snd card but not suitable when connecting devices such as external usb hard drives or high res web cams
if you need high data xfers on several usb 3,0 ports on a PCI-E 2.0 bus, then look for a usb card that has a onboard plx switch and they also will be a usb 3.0 card using 4 pci-e 2.0 data lanes these cards can sometimes be found used on eBay for reasonable prices and have 20GB/s instead of 5GB/s data speed
