Hello. So last month I got a message from the machine that it needed a fan. Turned it off and ordered the fan. It was coming from China and took its time. Received yesterday and installed.
On the first boot, it didn't make it past the HP logo. I ended up going to my office to load windows recovery onto a USB. I went into startup repair and it said it was fixing errors, so I went to bed.
When I woke up, the machine had turned itself off.
It again wouldn't make it past the HP logo.
Right now, I've just started a full recovery.
But perhaps it's dead and you can already tell me that based on that info.
Thoughts? Really wish I hadn't waited over a month for this discovery.
Edit: resetting failed. RIP machine?

Hi
Try HP Diagnostics if possible. It sounds like there may be some life left in your PC.
Could be a HDD or RAM problem. Or the system board could be in trouble. Most components except for the CPU, RAM, and storage devices are integrated in the motherboard.
A possible external power supply problem may exist.
Start the PC. Tap "ESC".
Select "F2". Run system and component tests if the PC responds.
