Hello ! I've got an HP Victus desktop with model number TG02-2029c, which came with an i5-14400f and an RTX 3050 6GB.
I want to upgrade the GPU alongside the PSU and I'm looking into an RX 9060xt but my BIOS doesn't seem to support that card. The BIOS that is installed for my 8B3B motherboard is version F.40 from March 2025, while the card was released in June.
Is there any way to know if the BIOS will be updated to support these newer cards ?
I already got the GPU, so I know it's not supported (I get 3 long beeps and 3 short ones) and the card does work fine in another PC I have so my assumption is that the BIOS doesn't support it.
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to our HP Community forum!
I am dealing with a similar issue: I couldn't get an RTX 5070 to work in my HP Pavilion TP01-3003w gaming desktop, no matter what I tried, whilst just like you, this card works just fine in an Asus Prime 390-P motherboard-based gaming platform.
Nor are you and I the only ones who have noticed this.
Don't know what to tell you, HP really should provide a software (probably BIOS-based) upgrade for Txxx systems like ours, but it would be anyone's guess when -or if, this will actually happen...
Kind Regards,
