HP ENVY All-in-One - 32-a1035

I would like to use the Gigabyte ARUS RTX Gaming Box,  an external unit, with my HP Envy 32 All in One system. Is this possible?

Hi:

Below is the link to the product specs for your AIO PC.

HP ENVY All-in-One - 32-a1035 Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

HP Desktop PCs - Motherboard Specifications, Rotini | HP® Customer Support

Back I/O ports

  • (1) Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gb/s signaling rate, Power Delivery 3.0, DisplayPort 1.2)
  • (1) USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C
  • (2) USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
  • (1) HDMI 2.0/ HDCP 2.2 input port
  • (1) HDMI 2.0/ HDCP 2.2 output port
  • (1) RJ-45/Ethernet port
According to the motherboard I/O Port specs, your PC has HDMI in and HDMI out ports, so you should be able to connect your Gigabyte ARUS RTX Gaming Box to your PC's HDMI in port and get the gaming device to display on your PC's screen.

Why wouldn't it work?

The PC has a HDMI in and Thunderbolt 3 port.

The manual you posted indicates that the system requirements are:

Windows 10

Laptop/Desktop PC with a Thunderbolt 3.0 port.

hi sorry @Paul_Tikkanen

I did not say that ..
but you have modified your message, at the beginning, you just said that the user will be able because he can connect it to the hdmi in and out!
But that doesn't seem to be enough, to say that it won't work, that's no idea
so i was just saying look at the manual, may help !

Sorry for the ambiguity of the previous answer!
as you know I use a translator, sometimes it's long, so I keep it short
it would be interesting to have feedback from @RonnV  , performance test etc.

in the comments they seem to say that sometimes it's better with another monitor
It often happens that we ask if possible to add a gpu on this type of computer!
Have a nice week !
