Will the RTX 2060 Super work in my HP ENVY Desktop - TE01-0005na?

It has a 310 W Gold efficiency PSU.

According to tech power up the recommended power supply for RTX-2060 is 450 watts

The TE01 models possible power supplies are listed here

recommended video boards are also shown.

Possibly the 1650 and a 400watt ?

Possibly @NonSequitur777 can make a better recommendation

Hi, thanks for the response.

Do you recommend any 450W PSUs to my PC?

@xlucos,

As per @BeemerBiker, I would recommend the following:

Your HP ENVY Desktop - TE01-0005na (9EY83EA) as per: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06530335, is fitted with the Rother motherboard (SSID: 8653), and your desktop came with a 310-watt power supply.

However, according to: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Knowledge-Base/Power-Supply-Cross-Reference-for-specific-model..., your desktop can be upgraded with an HP 400-watt power supply (HP p/n: L69242-800) or the 500-watt power supply (HP p/n: L05757-800)

These power supplies are much in demand and/or in short supply -regardless, they are pricey: the 400-watt L69242-800:https://www.ebay.com/itm/175359740069?epid=18051721413&hash=item28d44148a5%3Ag%3Ao0QAAOSwMlti2lMz&am...

And the 500-watt L05757-800:https://www.ebay.com/itm/204154426176?hash=item2f888d5340%3Ag%3AsDwAAOSwF4xjdD2i&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAA...

Once you got a 400-watt power supply, you could fit your PC with a very respectable HP-issued GPU such as one of these:

1.) HP GeForce GTX 1660 Super 6GB, such as offered here: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=HP+GTX+1660+Super+&_sacat=0&LH_ItemCondition=3000&LH_

2.) HP GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB, such as offered here: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=HP+GTX+1660+Ti&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&LH_BIN=1&_sop=

Or with the 500-watt power supply, you'll have enough power for an RTX 2060 Super 8GB.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,

NonSequitur777
