HP ENVY Desktop PC TPE01-3000i (4M0M1AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

So I want to upgrade my 3147c. Chip is i7 12700 2.10GHz, motherboard Reno, and I think the PSU is only 310W, if I want to insert the gtx 1660 in, will it work perfectly? because when I try the radeon rx 580, it seems pretty lag.
Please answer.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Your HP ENVY Desktop PC TPE01-3000i (4M0M1AV) as you mentioned is fitted with a Reno motherboard (SSID: 89B5) with a 310-watt power supply with p/n: L10875-800 -please confirm.

If your power supply is fitted with a 6-pin or 8-pin PCIe power cable, a GTX 1660 should work with a 310-watt power supply (see: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-gtx-1660.c3365), that is, if your power supply is equipped with a 6-pin PCIe power supply cable please confirm.  If your PSU has a 6-pin PCIe power supply cable, you'll have to purchase a 6-pin female to 8-pin male PCIe power supply adapter cable such as this one: https://www.amazon.com/outstanding-Graphics-Extension-Adapter-Converter/dp/B08HLQTW1X/ref=sr_1_8?cri.... Normally I wouldn't recommend such a power "mod", but since a GTX 1660 has a lowish TDP (120-watt), the 6-pin to 8-pin power adapter cable should work just fine without causing any (power/performance) issues.

Incidentally, you could upgrade your power supply with either a 400-watt PSU with p/n: L04618-800 or a 500-watt PSU with p/n: L05757-800, which would allow you to upgrade your PC with an RTX 3050, RTX 3060, etc:

You can purchase the aforementioned 400-watt or 500-watt power supplies online, such as via eBay.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
