Hello, recently my HP Omen 870-224 desktop's graphics card died. It was the GTX 1060 3GB. I am looking to upgrade to the GTX 1660 Super but am worried that it may be too big. It should be able to fit , that is the dimensions would fit in the case of the Omen 870-224 where the graphics card slot is. However, the HP Omen's slot is kind of close to the side wall of the case, and the GTX 1660S is a little longer than the GTX1060. If it is longer on the side closest to the wall, I am not sure if it will fit. Does anybody with better knowledge of graphics cards or this Omen model itself know about the size of graphics card I can fit in it?
Thank you.

Shutdown, remove power cord, remove side panel.
Make a rigid cardboard 4.3 x "the new card length" and see if it could drop along side the back of the 1060.
