Hi,
I have Dell laptop and I have bought new monitor from HP so that I can work comfortably on a bigger screen as opposed to laptop's smaller screen. It is a HP e243m monitor. My problem is that my Webcam is not working. It is neither being detected by any external app such as skype, cybercam etc , nor by windows 10 own Camera app. I have tried installing the driver and webcam update for HP e243m from HP website, but it quits while installing saying 'Camera Not Found'. I also can not see any relevant camera/webcam hardware listed in 'Device Manager'. I will appreciate any help on this front. Thanks

This forum post may help. Also on the support page for the drivers there is also a firmware update. The firmware corrects a problem where the laptop webcam and the webcam on the monitor are named the same which will cause problems on the monitor webcam.
