Product: HP Paviilion
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recent windows upgrades to version 1903 are not loading due to some files not being available, etc.  Microsoft says it will keep trying but failures have occurred now for two to three months.  Are their any concrete answers out there for this situation.  I have seen posting thru "google" that others are having the same problem.  There have been many suggestions for fixes but nothing is working for my situation.

Welcome back to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

W10 1903 had some update problems.

 

Any specific error message when the update aborts?

 

What fixes did you try?

 

Run DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth at an admin command prompt and then run a Check Disk (Link) before updating.

 

Disconnect unnecessary peripherals before doing the update.
