Product: HP Pavilion Desktop - 570-p094

I want to upgrade current system (HP Pavilion Desktop 570-p094) from Windows 10 to 11.  The Processor is the AMD A12-9800 RADEON R7, 12 Compute cores 4C+8G, 3800 Mhz, 4 core(s), 4 logical processor.  The question is in an attempt to install another CPU to handle the Windows 11, I probably need to know which BIOS do I need for the CPU upgrade?  If more information is needed, please ask.

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

 

Your HP Pavilion Desktop 570-p094 fitted with the AMD A12-9800 processor as installed in an HP SSID: 82FE motherboard, is not on the list of Windows 11 supported AMD processors and cannot be upgraded to any Windows 11 eligible processors, meaning your PC is not eligible for a so-called "clean" Windows 11 installation or upgrade.

 

However, there are ways around it, and you can still install Windows 11 if you so choose.
