I love my HP ENVY Desktop - 750-177c (it's working beautifully!) but want to be able to run Windows 11 when it comes out. I have an HP 2B47 motherboard with an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 3408 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor. This CPU is not listed by Microsoft as one that can run Windows 11. Other than buying a whole new computer (and everything that that entails!), can I upgrade my motherboard and/or CPU to handle Windows 11? Any advice would be greatly appreciated; Thank You!

Hello
your computer is working fine, so why not wait
The final version of w11 has not yet been released
apart from microsoft's sheep testers, it is now impossible to know concretely what the system will be worth in the end
It does not say that your computer will work as well, and that you will be fully satisfied!
moreover if you are obliged to replace important elements, you risk to have problems, the boxes hp, are particular
it may be difficult to replace the motherboard
to see the cost, motherboard processor etc ...
This is only my opinion, but wait a bit to see if already there will not be better with the microsft requirements for w11
