Hi all, I just want to write here that I installed (fresh install) Windows 11 on a EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF
It is a version of the Windows installer that took away all the checks (hardware checks and software checks) but uses the real license key from when the computer was bought.
Everything works great! Updated all the drivers with an " update driver tool" (not sure if am allowed to write the name here).
Does anyone know which version he was referring to?

Hi:
If you want to install W11 on your PC, I found this way to be the easiest way to do an inplace upgrade from W10 to W11.
You don't even need to do a clean install.

Before upgrading to W11, I recommend that you first make a system image of your current W10 installation prior to updating to W11, so you can easily reinstall W10 in the future. I used the free Macrium Reflect software to do that, under the Backup at Home section.
Along with the system image, make sure you create the bootable DVD or USB rescue drive you boot from to access the system image stored on your portable hard drive.

I've upgraded 12 HP and Dell desktop and notebook PC's using this method and they all work fine and have gotten all of the security and cumulative updates Microsoft has release for W11 thus far.
I check them against a PC I have that fully meets the W11 hardware requirements.
