OMEN 30L Desktop PC GT13-0000a (ID 9NA84AV)

My Omen 30L Desktop PC GT13-0000a has been crashing out of some games. I ran Windows Memory Diagnostics and it came back saying "Your computer has a memory problem"  but nothing on what the problem is or how to fix it. It has 2x8GbB Hyper Fury DDR4.

I have tried removing all peripherals, same result. I have tried removing, cleaning and replacing the RAM. Same result. I have tried removing each Ram card and testing one Ram at a time, same result.........

Any clues on how to proceed ?

Greetings @MaxScot

Good work.

You have done stuff I would have tried.

Did you try each memory module, one at a time, in each memory slot?

Did you clean the memory slots?

All you can do now, if the problem persists, is to try a different, known good, memory module in each memory slot.

It could be a failing CPU memory controller if none of the above troubleshooting tips work.

Some AMD CPUs are prone to memory controller failure.

Hi Bill, Thanks for you reply.

Yes I tried each Ram card individually in the slots but got same results. I did a HP memory test and it also says the RAM is not working. I'm now trying on HP Messenger support to get info on what RAM is compatible but I've sat for over an hour and still not had feedback from a Tech agent.......... Its Strange how the RAM isn't working but but it shows up on the Task manager as working and I can use the PC without it crashing. I guess that it only happens when it is under load in a Memory intensive game.

Greetings @MaxScot

I guess the game is revealing a memory problem.

Check HP Part Surfer for possible component purchase options using your PC's specific HP Product number. 9NA84AV is a generic product ID.

Try eBay using the HP memory module part number if it is listed on the memory module.

Or you can get compatible memory at Crucial Memory. Use the Crucial Scanner.
