I have HP Envy 34 c1001a which has wireless charging function at the base of the monitor stand. This has suddenly stopped for no particular reason (that I am aware of). It is enabled in BIOS and other testing is successful. Has this been a problem for other users?

Update, I reset the BIOS Wireless Charging as Enabled and it now works. There is a problem here as the BIOS setting was enabled but the wireless charging pad was not working. I set it to Disabled, then saved, restarted, then set it back to Enabled, saved and restarted and now it works. Bit buggy but at least it now is working again.

Hi @ColinR66
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
By default, wireless charging is disabled in the S5 (shutdown) power state.
Turn off the computer.
Turn on the computer and immediately press the f10 key.
Continue pressing the f10 key until the BIOS Configuration screen appears.
Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate to the Configuration tab.
Change the wireless charging option to enabled.

Hi Alden4, thanks for the reply but it does not address the issue of why the wireless charger suddenly stopped working when the BIOS settings were correct (ON). The only way to correct this for me was to toggle the BIOS OFF, save, restart, then BIOS back to ON. Obviously a little bug there however it doesn't bother me as if it happens again I can toggle BIOS again. The purpose of the post is for others who may experience the same issue.
