HP Pavilion 27 inch All-in-One Desktop PC 27-d1000i (1U0B2AV)

Today my wireless keyboard has stopped connecting to the PC. It came with the Pavilion 'all in one' desktop PC.

It worked fine last night, and computer had been on/standby overnight.

Wireless mouse still fine, so PC Bluetooth must be on and working.

So I figure must be keyboard batteries.

I've changed those 3 times now, each time the caps lock light comes on for around 10 seconds, but that's all. Keyboard still doesn't do anything on screen.

There's no on/off switch on the keyboard. I don't think there was a USB receiver for it either - there's nothing been plugged into the desktop. It was just via Bluetooth.

The only other thing I considered is if a recent Avg security update and refresh, or similarly a Windows update, may have impacted the driver for keyboard?

But I don't know how to check, and it's challenging anyway without a working keyboard.

Is this a common issue? Is there a known solution?
