Hi @Meet36

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand the wireless mouse is not working as expected. Thank you for sharing this with us.

To guide you accurately, could you let us know the exact HP mouse model and the operating system currently in use? It would also help to know if any troubleshooting steps have already been tried, such as checking the USB receiver or testing on another device.

This information will allow us to provide the most suitable recommended guidance.

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

While we wait for the specific product details, here are some basic and generic checks that can be useful in the meantime:

  • Ensure the mouse has sufficient battery charge or replace the batteries if applicable.
  • Confirm the USB receiver is securely connected to the computer.
  • Try connecting the mouse to another USB port.
  • If possible, test the mouse on a different system to see if the issue persists.
  • Verify that the wireless connection is not being blocked by nearby devices or objects.

These are general steps that often help narrow down the cause. Once you share the exact model and operating system, we can provide tailored and recommended guidance.

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
