I have HP workstation Z240 with 802f motherboard and 400W PSU. I want to add RX 580 GPU but I Have low power psu. All i want to ask that can I upgrade my PSU in this pc. By the way It has it's basic case that comes with. If yes then at what maximum limit I can upgrade my PSU?

You need an adapter to use an ATX power supply in the z240 as shown in this video
