Hello,
I'm considering reconfiguring a Pavilion 15t-cc500 from HDD to SSD. I have a Samsung PM961. From HP specs it seems a M or M+B key is required, and PM961 is M.
Also, does anyone know if the HDD could remain installed as a backup?
Have an OEM: Samsung MZVLW256HEHP PM961 256GB M.2 NVMe PCIe
Looking to install into: Pavilion 15t-cc500
Thanks for your consideration,
C

Hi,
It is not possible as the M2 slot in the PC only supports M2 SATA3 SSD such as the M2 Samsung 860 Evo or similar, not PCIe SSD such as the PM961

Hope it helps,
