HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-1305ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have upgraded my memory with 2 Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 8GB 2666MHz modules. The memory has a XMP 2.0 profile but the computer does not use this profile but instead the standard JEDEC profile for 2133MHz. The XMP profile has to be enabled in the BIOS. There is now no option in the BIOS to enable XMP. HP uses a special BIOS from AMI. My current BIOS version is F30.

@johan20070 , welcome to the Community.

As you stated, HP doesn't use XMP's.  Therefore, you will not be able to overclock your memory to 2666.

HP Support has told me that they have informed the back-end team of the issue and hopefully will release a fix for the XMP profile 2.0 soon through a BIOS update. Presently at the moment nothing can be done to get this activated.
