Hi, I have z2 g9 tower and I would like to install a m2 Corsair disk but I don’t see screw in the mother board, so I don’t know what type of screw to buy and where to put the m2 because I see 2 places in the motherboard.
could anyone help me, please?
thank you
regards

Hi @Juniorhw
Welcome back.
Did HP install a M.2 standoff? I am surprised HP did not include some M.2 standoffs and screws when you purchased the PC.
These two parts may be non-standard and hard to find. I don't know the part numbers for the HP: screws and standoffs.
Try your PC's product number at HP Part Surfer.
Check this Forum Link for some additional info. This Forum link has a link to a YouTube video with some interesting information.
The standoff dimensions and screw thread size used by HP on M.2 riser cards are described in this Youtube video.
I can't say if your MB has the same screws and standoffs used on the HP M.2 riser card.
You might be able to get some compatible M.2 screws (and standoffs) at Amazon or other online vendors.
