Hello;

 

 I have HPZ230 with I5-4590 

Is it possible to upgrade to a I7-4770 on the same board with the same bios

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the HP Quickspecs for the Z230:

 

HP Z230 Tower Workstation (hp-pro.net)

 

It shows that the i7-4790 is a supported processor.

 

The i7-4770 should also be supported as shown by this user benchmarking site for the Z230 which shows build reports with that processor installed.
