HP Z400

Hello,

I would like to add a front fan to my Z400, could you guys tell me what fan should I get? I have the fan holder/card guide thing.

Best regards,

@arcio1,

This post will explain some of it. @DGroves had an accepted Solution. The .pdf file was very helpful. Read it, and refer to page 101+ on the fan.  Header P93 is the fan power. How many pins?  If it is 4, that is a PWM fan. Fan slides into assembly, so here is a guide on how to measure case fans, so use reverse logic to determine the size of the fan. IMHO it is likely a 92mm 4pin PWM fan, like this.   BUT verify !!!!!

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..
