Hi all,
I have an Intel Xeon Z420 E5-1620, and I am trying to upgrade the ram from 4GB to 8GB. I bought two sticks of compatible 4GB RAM and used them to replace the two sticks of 2GB RAM that came with the computer. The problem is that my computer is still only reading about 4GB. I went to msconfig and made sure the maximum memory was at 0, but I don't know what else to try. If there's a BIOS update that would fix this, would someone please send me the link? Otherwise, I'm stumped.
Here's the RAM in case it helps:

Thanks in advance.

Thanks again for your answer, but my computer isn't reading the new RAM. It still only reads 4GB of memory.
Here are the computer's memory specifications:
8 DIMM slots, Up to 64 GB ECC unbuffered DDR3 1600 MHz; 4 channels per CPU
Also, I'm using Windows 7 64 bit.
Is there anything else you can suggest?
Thanks in advance.
