Product: HP Z440 Base Model Workstation
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi there,
I'm thinking about upgrading my desktop workstation and I would like to know which options do I have. There are two things that I would like to upgrade:
- CPU - at the moment there is Intel Xeon Ep-1560 v4@3.60 Ghz - the goal is to install the CPU with 20 or 22 cores. Which option do you recommend Intel Xeon E5-2698 V4 or Intel Xeon E5-2696 V4?
- Video card - at the moment there is Nvidia P4000 installed - is Nvidia P5000 compatible?
In case of upgrading both option, do I have to buy more powerful PSU? At the moment there is 700W PSU installed.
Thank you so much!
P.S. if that is useful info, there is also 128GB RAM@2400 Mhz installed
