Hello All,
My Z440 with E5-2680 v4 doesn't seem to be scaling CPU frequency under Linux 6.7.1 (Stock kernel, Artix distribution)
'hardinfo' confirms that all cores are running at full speed even when the system is idle. Under Windows 10 CPU-ID's HWInfo utility shows the CPU's cores running at the (correct) lower speed when idle.
'dmesg' says the following:
ACPI: [Firmware Bug]: BIOS needs update for CPU frequency support
ACPI Warning: \_SB.SCK0.CP1A._PCT: Return Package is too small - found 1 elements, expected 2 (20230628/nsprepkg-362)
I was running BIOS M60 2.61 and have downgraded to M60 2.59 and I can go down to 2.57 and 2.54 as I have them saved to disk. Before I do though, I thought to ask around here if this is known issue.
Many thanks.
