Hello, I recently got a z440 motherboard for a server project I have been wanting to do for awhile, I tried dropping a e5 2696 v4 and 128 gb of ddr4 ecc udimms (8x16 dimms) and all I get is a blinking red light and fans spinning. I am thinking it needs a bios update but I cant seem to find one and I got a e5 2630L v3 for debugging if need be, other than that I was wondering if there where any proprietary features stopping the post sense I have an after market case but bought a stock cpu fan heatsink, jumped the pins for the ram shroud heatsink and got a psu adapter to power it. Thanks so much for your time with this matter.
