Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I need to update my Z440 desktop to the latest BIOS version 2.61, however I am not seeing that driver available for an operating system above Windows 10.  I need this for Windows 11.

The PC is not supported by Microsoft or HP for W11, which is why there are no W11 drivers for it.

 

HP Z440 Workstation Software and Driver Details

 

The only suggestion I can offer would be to use the W10 BIOS update.

 

If you don't want to actually run the BIOS update in W11 use the below method to update the BIOS.

 

Startup Menu (Esc)/BIOS Setup (F10) Flashing

The HP Workstation supported by this Softpaq provides a BIOS upgrade option through the Startup menu (Esc) or BIOS Setup (F10) using the “Update System Bios” feature. Please follow the steps in Section III located in the WS_Flash_Instructions.pdf document.

 

I attached WS_Flash_Instructions pdf file below.

 

When you first run the BIOS update an information page will open and give you your options to update the BIOS.
