I have bought a used Z440 motherboard and front UI with cables. I am trying to build a server. I am unable to get the system to post. There is a white LED on both the motherboard by the rear power button on board and also on UI assembly. There are no flashing red LED's activating at all. When turning the system on, the case fans that are powered through the sata power connection turn on, the cpu cooler fan turns on, and the fans on both graphics cars turn on.

I have recheck:

All electrical connections - especially the adapter cables for the 18 and ram power connectors

Checked all gold pads on processor and all pins in socket - reseated processor

removed all ram sticks and installed each by themselves in DIMM slot 1 - If I put them in other DIMM slots it would flash the red LED with a ram fault

I disconnected all sata drives

I moved my known good graphics card to a different PCIE slot

Used a second known good graphics card in both PCIE slots

Tried two separate known good tv's

Tried 4 known good HDMI cables

I don't have anything connected to the case lock pins on motherboard nor do I have a temp sensor attached - not sure if that would make a difference
