Has anyone tried booting from a PCIe NVMe SSD on a Z800?...

e.g Samsung 980 PRO PCIe 4.0 NVMe

Why do you want to waste your money and why don't you check the manual?

PCIe 2.

You will not be able to boot

If you buy a PCIe extension card for a M.2 NVMe

But if you know how to create a EFI-Partition on a USB-Drive you will be able to run WIN10 on a NVMe and boot from the USB
