I want to upgrade to an RTX 3090 TI but the card is physically taller than the usual cards so the cover won't shut.. What's the solution to that?

 

It feels like I need a different retaining cover to allow taller cards?

Welcome to our HP Community Forum!

 

Look, there is always a solution, but the one I would choose -and have chosen for certain HP desktop upgrade projects, will take you off the Reservation, so to speak, and it would invalidate your HP warranty if you still got it.  And you'll do this on your own volition, and it requires significant personal safety and DIY skills.
