that HP has posted. It gives a nice step-by-step plan for servicing your computer.
I suppose that you can fit a 2.5-inch SSD somewhere within the restricted space inside the SFF case.
A SSD has no moving parts, and thus does not really need to be securely "anchored" into the case.

I looked at a picture of your motherboard and saw three SATA connectors but no M.2.

If you have an HDD and an Optical drive then there is one additional sata port that can be used. You just need to find a place to put the drive and a route to run the cables.
