Hi HP community support. I have a 12 year old HP Pavilion AMD A10-5700 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 3.40 GHz. I want to add a graphics card to the motherboard. I don't know which graphics card are compatible with the motherboard. Does Bios support adding on agraphics card ?

Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!
Your HP Pavilion p7-1240 / p7-1455 Desktop PC as fitted with an AMD A10-5700 and the Jasmine (MSI 2AE0) motherboard, which is 24-pin ATX-power enabled, meaning, you can upgrade your stock 300-watt power supply with any industry standard ATX power supply, as long as you watch its dimensions (LxWxH) for fit inside your case.
Anyway, in these links, you can see "HP System p7-1240 / p7-1455" Users fitted their desktops with the GTX 970 a GTX 1050 Ti and even a GTX 1650.
In other words, yes, it appears that HP Pavilion p7-1240 / p7-1455 BIOS does support adding a graphics card.
Hope this was helpful.
