Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm trying to add the maximum memory to my pavilion aio 23-p114 p/n j4v83aa#aba the max say it is 128 gb, is there a way to confirm this and should I buy the necessary memory

That is way off. Your specs page shows this...

 

  • Single channel memory architecture
  • Two 204-pin DDR3 SODIMM sockets
  • Supports up to PC3-12800 (DDR3-1600)
  • Non-ECC memory only, unbuffered
  • Supports 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB and 8 GB SODIMMs
  • Supports up to 16 GB on 64-bit systems

Also, you need to match the existing stick with the same specs to insure you wont have issues.

Matched timings will enable dual channel mode.
