Greetings,

Welcome back to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

I looked at your PC's specs. Could not find much information on storage device support.

Can you give more information regarding the Intel drive you are installing?

SATA M.2 or NVME M.2. Or did you install a M.2 riser card in a PCIe slot?

Your PC may not support PCIe M.2.

BIOS problems recognizing this drive may suggest the M.2 NVME PCIe storage device is not supported on your motherboard. A PCIe drive may not be bootable on this motherboard.

Hi,

I just realized you are using Windows 7.

You need to install Intel or Microsoft NVME drivers so Windows 7 can see this storage device.

Windows 7 does not support M.2 PCIe NVME storage devices.

Sorry about this.

Regards
