i am having trouble updating my omen 25L desktop gt12-0xxx. i cannot find this specific one on the website and its not letting me play cod. it says my bios version right now is 10.026200 Build 26200. help please?

I hear your concern about the BIOS update.  To make sure we’re checking the right BIOS update for your Omen 25L GT12-0xxx, could you also confirm the Windows edition and build version you’re currently running?  

Once we have:

 The exact product number (GT12-0xxx)

 Your Windows OS version and build

We’ll be able to cross-check the latest BIOS available for your unit on HP’s support website.

 

In the meantime, here are a couple of quick checks you can try:

  • HP Support Assistant: Run it to see if any BIOS or driver updates are pending.
  • Windows Update: Ensure your system is fully updated, as BIOS updates sometimes come through here.
  • Manual BIOS download: With the product number and OS build, we can guide you to the exact BIOS file on HP’s support page.
