To make sure that the AHCI is working I converted my HDD to be able to use AHCI. Now my HDD drive and BIOS are set to AHCI and Windows is booting and working fine. The BIOS still does not see the SSD drive. Another strange thing is my USB docking station sometimes will not see the SSD, but my portable SATA to USB case will always see the SSD drive. They are both SATA to USB and one always woks and the other sometimes ??

I use EaseUS pro partition. I have tried 4 new 240GB SSD drives. Not one will show in the BIOS. The Bios is set to AHCI. The drives are formated via USB with 512/sector. I drive only enables using an external USB STATA/USB drive case. It sometimes will work with my USB Cirago docking station.
