Hi @EvelynH70,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are getting an error "Cannot find camera" on your HP Pavilion - 15-Cc023cl. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 Let's perform a hard reset:

  • Power off the laptop.
  • Disconnected AC adapter from the laptop.
  • Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the battery and plug the AC adapter.
  • Power ON the laptop and check.

If the issue persists, then please follow the steps mentioned in this document: HP PCs - "We can't find your camera" error is displayed in Camera app in Windows 10

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Were you ever able to fix your problem?

I'm having the same problem, which started in mid-December 2022. My laptop was about 15 months old at the time.

When I go to the Device Manager (as instructed by some sources) I cannot find any drivers for the Camera, which used to be there. I reinstalled Windows 11 and that didn't help.

Hi. I tried all of these solutions and am still not able to access the built-in camera on my HP laptop:

HP Laptop PC 15-dw3000 (1A3Y0AV)

  • There is no privacy switch or shutter key.
  • Hard restarting and reinstalling Windows 11 have not worked.

My camera worked fine for the first 15 months or so I've had the computer, but in mid-December 2022 it stopped working following a Windows update of some kind.

I have looked for the camera driver in Device Settings, but I do not see anything for the camera:

I've seen some information indicating that there is a Realtek driver out there, but I cannot find one.

Please help. Thanks!
