I have a 843B MB with 2x 8GB sticks wondering if I can upgrade to 2x 16GB sticks.

does it max out at 32? i read somewhere earlier that it could support 64GB but im very skeptical.

Well, what can I say: there is at least one HP Pavilion Desktop 590-p0xxx User with a Lincs motherboard (SSID: 843B) like yours, who showed that it is possible to make 2 x 32GB RAM sticks work: HP Pavilion Desktop 590-p0xxx Performance Results - UserBenchmark:
