HP Recommended
hp 1494 motherboard
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Some time ago i tried to instal ssd on my comp on hp 1494 motherboard. Had an issue with a blue screen with win10.

Got back old hdd and installed again win7 and it work so far with no problem. Do not know is SSD was the problem or not.

Now i want to instal SSD kingstone 500gb (should buy it soon) and wonder does it will work with my motherboard?

thanks in advance

NO PC told. what is a 1494 motherboard.????? out of what PC? (google does not know, ebay zero so what is it?

did you buy A PC or just a motherboard. if a PC what PC is it model full sand service tag product ID #?

what does SSD mean

m.2

or

2.5? SSD sata drive.

all pcs on earth can do 2.5' drives, all can, never seen one that can not.

m.2 is a whole other ball of wax.

the M keyed,  M.2 slot can if the did you look first.?

OK deep deep deeper googling

it is a ????

Hewlett-Packard HP Compaq 8200 Elite CMT PC

that PC? is OLD. if yes no m.2 is there

so the answer is any SATA drive on earth can run in this PC,  2.5"SSD, 2.5"HDD, 3.5" HDD.

all work every one and if using GPT formats  over 2TB easy to the exabyte drivers sold in year 3000 (1/2joking)

NO warranty answers by me.
