Hi @jackoo76,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

I see that you are facing an issue with upgrading HDD on your HP PC.

To add a second 3.5" HDD to your HP TG01-2099ur, you'll need to check if there's an available mounting solution or if an additional HDD cage/tray is compatible with your case.

Here’s a general approach to find a solution:

Check Case Specifications:

  • Review the HP TG01-2099ur's manual or technical specifications to see if it supports additional HDDs and if there's an existing slot or bracket that can be used.

Look for Compatible Accessories:

  • If the case does support an additional HDD, you may need to purchase a second HDD tray or mounting bracket. For many cases, these parts can be purchased from third-party vendors or directly from HP if available.

Third-Party Solutions:

  • If HP doesn't provide a specific part number for a double HDD tray, you might look into third-party drive mounting kits. These kits are often designed to be universal and can be adapted to fit different cases. They usually come with brackets that allow you to install additional drives where there’s space.

Physical Space:

  • Ensure there’s enough physical space in your case to accommodate a second HDD. Measure the available area and confirm that the mounting solution will fit.

Installation:

  • Once you have the appropriate bracket or cage, you’ll need to secure it in place and connect the HDD to your motherboard and power supply.

Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a great day ahead!
