The following link shows specs of your computer
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c04957326
it has
- Two 240-pin DDR3L DIMM sockets
- Supports the following:
- PC3L-12800 (DDR3L-1600)
- PC3L-10600 (DDR3L-1333)
- Supports 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB and 8 GB DIMMs
Higher speed will run at lower speed or won't work at all,
Regards.

Hi
You can check out official HP memory upgrade options for your PC's motherboard here.
Click on the (+) sign next to "Memory upgrade information.
Anything is possible but I would tend to give HP specifications greater weight.
