looking to do gaming, but this was all that was in store at the time. I needed something that day, so I bought it randomly. I was wondering if I could replace a few things, like my graphics cards and Intel Core, with an i5 rather than an i3, to be able to run games.

Welcome to our HP community forum!
Your HP Slim Desktop PC S01-pF2000i (4M0H6AV) as fitted with an Akali motherboard (SSID: 89B4) and an i3-12100 processor, can be upgraded with a 12th gen i5 processor, such as the i5-12400, or a 12th gen i7 processor, such as an i7-12700.
Unfortunately, there are no power supply upgrades available for your desktop. You are stuck with an underwhelming 180-watt power supply which can power nothing more than a GT 1030.
My recommendation is to look for a PC platform with better power supply upgrade potential and thus better graphics cards upgrade options. This is totally a budget and (gaming) needs issue: how much money can you/are you willing to spend.
Kind Regards,
