can i upgrade my core 2 e7600 to a quad core core 2?

HP Compaq 6000 Pro Microtower PC

this is my computer and i currenty have the regular core 2 e7600 in it, can i upgrade it to a core 2 quad q8300?

i found this list of cpus for my computer on the hp website , it doesnt seem to list the q8300 but does that mean any of these other ones will work??

i assume if so then the q8300 will work too its essentially the same as the others

only what's on this list should work
but it seems strange to me, that the Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 is indicated and not the other that said better to take the q8400 if you can!
