Hi:

According to chapter 5 page 70 of the service manual at the link below, the enable RAID setting is found in the BIOS' Advanced menu>System Options section.

yea i read that manual many time's bud i write down.

when i open system options section.

there is no option what so ever about raid, that's the frustrated thing about it.

Is my bios oke , or is it blocked in any way to create raid.

is it possible that it's blocked by bios password or something.

tomorrow i will take the battery out, and put the jumper on other side to clear the bios settings and

maybe that will show me the full bios options.

thanks for the replay anyway .

You're very welcome.

The only other thing it could be is that the HP 600 Pro model series does not support RAID and only the 800 Elite model series does.

The reason I say that is because I have two PC's...one is a HP 6200 Pro with an i5-2500 processor and it does not have a RAID setting and I have the 8200 Elite with an i7-2600 processor and that one does have a RAID setting.

Other than one having a RAID setting and the other not having a RAID setting, and a slight variation of the chipsets 8200 has the Q67 chipset and the 6200 has the Q65 chipset, the PC's are exactly the same
